Zola Jesus – Night
Strange, endearing, haunting, quirky. All of these words describe 22 year old Zola Jesus. She’s pretty much blown up on the blogosphere the last while, and Pop Culture Monster invested in her wonderful EP Stridulum earlier this year. It’s been on repeat since and this is one of his favourite tracks of the year. It’s avant-garde and yet strangely catchy. It’s also quite creepy.
